100% INDEPENDENT · SOLARFCG DOES NOT SELL SOLAR

You were promised electricity savings.
Do you know whether you actually got them?

I compare what your solar contract promised with what your system actually produced and what your electric bills show — then put the math into a report you can check and use.

No price. No obligation. I read every case myself.

DOES THIS SOUND FAMILIAR?

Four warning signs worth looking into.

You don't need to know what's technically wrong. That's the point of the first review.

01

“My electric bill has barely changed.”

The system may be producing, but not delivering the savings you were shown.

02

“The app shows less than the contract promised.”

The monitoring data gives us something measurable to reconcile against the deal you signed.

03

“The explanation I got doesn't match my contract.”

Sales claims and contract language are not always the same thing. We compare the documents.

04

“My loan payment is higher than the savings I was shown.”

The financial side matters too. A production problem can become a cash-flow problem.

Not sure? That's exactly what the free case screen is for. Send what you have. I'll tell you whether I see something worth documenting.
THE WORK

Solar forensic work, without the mystery.

I reconcile the numbers that matter and show you how I got there.

01

What were you promised?

I translate the contract, proposal and change orders into measurable promises.

02

What did the system deliver?

I reconcile production and monitoring data against those promises.

03

What happened to your bills?

I review your electric-bill history before and after the system.

04

What is the documented gap?

The result is a single, checkable finding with the math shown.

A REAL EXAMPLE

The number sold was 103.81%.
The measured result was 18.5%.

A contract represented that the solar system would supply 103.81% of the home's electricity. Measured over a full year, it supplied 18.5%.

The hardware wasn't the question. The number the system was sold on was.

JUDGE ME ON THE WORK

Don't take my word for it. Look at the reports.

These examples are redacted. Identifying details have been removed or replaced at the client's request; the underlying documents, data and arithmetic are unchanged.

WHO IS MIKE?

I've been on both sides of the solar conversation.

I bought solar for my own house before I ever worked in the industry. Then I spent four years inside a Texas solar company learning system design, financing, installation and commissioning, eventually becoming Technical Director.

I started taking homeowner problem calls. A pattern became hard to ignore: the hardware often worked. The number the system was sold on was the thing that didn't.

So I left to work from the homeowner side — independently, without installer, dealer or lender compensation.

FAQ

Questions homeowners usually ask.

What does the free case screen cost?

Nothing. I review the initial documents at no charge and tell you whether I see something worth documenting.

What do you need from me?

Send what you have. Ideally: your solar contract and change orders, monitoring screenshots or exports, and 12 months of electric bills.

Are you a lawyer?

No. I do not provide legal advice, legal conclusions or attorney-client services. My job is to reconcile documents, data and arithmetic so you have evidence you can take to the professional you choose.

Do you work for installers or lenders?

No. SolarFCG is homeowner-side and does not accept installer, dealer or lender compensation.

What if nothing is wrong?

I'll tell you. The goal is an honest answer, not to manufacture a problem.

What if my installer is out of business?

You can still have a documentable issue. The contract, production data and billing history can be reviewed independently of whether the installer is still operating.

Is my information confidential?

Yes. Information you send for review is treated as confidential and is not sold or shared with installers, lenders or lawyers.
